Daisy room

Children cared for in this area are all 2 years old and the care is planned according to the Birth to Three Matters curriculum. We encourage the children to explore and learn in both the inside and outside areas.

All of the staff in this area are particularly experienced in working with children of this age and we maintain a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children. All of the toys and equipment are provided with this age group in mind. We have a home corner and sand and water play always available, with a different craft and physical activity every day.

Once again a Key Worker system is operated and all of the children have a Learning Diary. The children attend for various lengths of time, from a single morning or afternoon to full time. This is a lovely area, very spacious and open. Though the area is always bustling with activity we do have a rest time for all the children every afternoon.
